Natural Notes will appear again at Beautyworld Dubai for its sophomore edition, assembling a group of seven suppliers of natural fragrance ingredients from multiple regions in a dedicated exhibition space located within the fragrance compounds hall. The showcase runs from 6 – 8 October 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, expanding on its inaugural appearance in 2025 and cementing the event as a permanent part of the international perfume calendar.
While raw materials form the backbone of perfume creation, the individuals who initially tend, harvest and distill these substances, farmers, gatherers and distillers, are seldom seen at exhibitions that focus on finished scents. Natural Notes aims to reverse this trend by offering source-based producers direct contact with perfumers, brand buyers and fragrance houses that dictate future market directions.
The initiative is organized together with Resperfuma, a French agency that specializes in perfume communications and is headed by founder and chief executive Virginie Gervason. It is conceived as a single venue and a single moment: a modestly designed area where purchasers can encounter a hand-picked collection of suppliers, and where the broader sector may discuss topics shaping the future of natural raw materials, such as sourcing practices, traceability, biodiversity, equitable collaborations with producing communities, and the long-term stability of the supply chain. The setting is purposefully modest, encouraging dialogue to centre on content rather than presentation.
“Natural Notes is an initiative I am particularly proud of,” said Virginie Gervason, Founder & CEO, Resperfuma. “Born two years ago from a visionary dialogue between Messe Frankfurt Middle East and Resperfuma, it gives natural ingredient producers at source, united by the same values of responsibility, their rightful place at one of the world’s most important beauty and perfumery trade shows.”

Global Origins
The confirmed exhibitors will present both their raw materials and the narratives behind them, covering several continents and some of the most prized substances in perfumery. Participants announced to date include Alta Oils (rose and lavender, Bulgaria); Capua (bergamot and citrus, Italy); FP Aromatics (sandalwood, Indonesia); Jasmine CE (flowers, vetiver and more, India); PT Van Aroma (patchouli, Indonesia); Som Extracts (mints and more, India); and Verger (spices, Sri Lanka), completing the roster of seven companies for the exhibition. These firms collectively showcase a broad spectrum of botanical sources, from delicate florals to robust woods and aromatic spices, showing the richness of natural raw materials available to the industry.
Each company operates at the very first stage of the value chain, possessing in-depth expertise about its local environment, the soil and climate that impart distinctive characteristics to the material, the communities involved in cultivation and harvest, as well as the certification and traceability mechanisms that assure purity. Their knowledge also extends to sustainable harvesting methods and adherence to international standards, further reassuring buyers of ethical sourcing. For buyers, perfumers and other fragrance specialists, Natural Notes provides an uncommon opportunity to engage these originators face-to-face and gain insight into the provenance and production methods of their inputs.
“Natural Notes did what we hoped it would in its first year,” said Ravi Ramchandani, Event Director, Beautyworld Dubai. “There is real curiosity in the fragrance industry about where ingredients come from, how they are produced and, above all, the people behind them.”
Industry Dialogue
Within the program, Natural Notes will feature a panel on the second day of the fair titled “The Natural Advantage: How brands can partner with natural ingredients producers to drive value.” The discussion, chaired by Resperfuma founder and chief executive Virginie Gervason, will bring together representatives such as Raja Palaniswamy of Jasmine C.E. Pvt. Ltd, Aayush Tekriwal of PT Van Aroma, Nuwan Delage of Verger Naturals and Rithika Gupta of FP Aromatics, facilitating a direct conversation on collaborative strategies that enable brands and producers to generate lasting value from natural raw materials. Attendees will have the chance to pose questions directly to the panelists, supporting a collaborative environment that encourages future partnerships.
